As we shared in our March newsletter, VCU and its adjoining Health System have experienced substantial growth, leading to major parking shortfalls and increased traffic congestion. Jeffrey Elsey, P.E., CAPP, LEED AP (Atlanta) and Josh Stone, Interim Director of Parking & Transportation Services at VCU, will present at the Parking Association of the Virginias 2019 Fall Workshop & Tradeshow, which is set to take place October 16-18 in Williamsburg, VA.

The session will highlight VCU’s Campus Wide Parking and Transportation Master Plan and how the University has paved the way for a more environmentally and financially sustainable future. The session will highlight the tools and programmatic approach used to develop a multilayered, 6-year plan for addressing parking demand, transit service changes, community concerns, and sensitive operation needs of the Health System.
