Mallory Scates, P.E. (San Antonio) and Leslie Tabor (Phoenix) Earn IPMI APO Site Reviewer Certification 

The International Parking and Mobility Institute (IPMI) Accredited Parking Organization (APO) Program serves as the quality standard for parking management organizations conduct business and maintain their facilities and services. Kimley-Horn’s Mallory Scates and Leslie Tabor were recently certified as IPMI APO Site Reviewers. As reviewers, they will evaluate organizations pursuing accreditation under the program. Mallory focuses much of her practice on campus parking and transportation master planning studies for universities, health care systems, corporations, and municipalities. Leslie is an experienced parking professional with a focus on strategic parking services for public and private sector clients. Congratulations, Mallory and Leslie!

Adam Cochran, P.E. (Raleigh) named National Parking Association’s Parking Consultants Council Vice Chair

The Parking Consultants Council (PCC) is a prestigious, peer-reviewed group of parking consultants with a substantial experience in the parking industry. This fosters information sharing on standards, regulations, and trends that impact parking construction, management, and operations. It develops best practices and technical educational manuals on parking industry topics. Adam is a vice president and associate of Kimley-Horn and an accomplished engineer in the planning, design, construction, and rehabilitation of parking facilities. He previously served for two years as the PCC Secretary. Congratulations, Adam!

KIMLEY-HORN AT FPTA

Earlier this month, Kimley-Horn’s Mark Santos, P.E. (Fort Lauderdale), David Taxman, P.E. (Fort Lauderdale), Brett Wood, P.E., CAPP (Charlotte) presented at the 40th Annual Florida Parking and Transportation (FPTA) 2019 Conference in Clearwater Beach, FL.

As the 2019 FPTA President, Mark led the opening and closing sessions, and presented the St. Armands Circle Parking Garage Case Study with Mark Lyons, CAPP (City of Sarasota), and Kenneth Boeser (Haskell). David presented the City of Clearwater Parking Study project along with Amanda Thompson (Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency). Brett and Rachel Yoka (IMPI) led the IPMI Mobility and Innovation Workshop.
